Information we process
We process the email address, display name, password credentials, verification records, and policy acknowledgments needed for your account. Profiles may include your birth date, city, gender, interests, preferences, prompts, photos, and honesty pledge. We also store matching choices, favorites, friend connections, stories, introductions, messages, conversation cards, notifications, blocks, reports, appeals, and moderation records. Technical information may include request addresses or identifiers used for rate limiting, session cookies, and hosting security logs.
How information is used
Information supports account creation and recovery, email verification, member discovery, matching, messaging, friend features, preferences, moderation, and abuse prevention. We use your email to send verification and recovery instructions and, when enabled in your preferences, activity notifications.
What other people can see
Your email and birth date are not displayed in your public member profile; your age is derived from your birth date. Approved profiles and photos are visible to verified members according to your visibility settings. These settings do not prevent authorized moderation access. Messages are available to their participants and can be reviewed for moderation. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. Matching choices other than an established mutual match are private. Friend stories appear only after approval. Homepage promotional portraits include AI-generated imagery and do not represent active member accounts.
Service providers and disclosures
The hosting infrastructure and email delivery services process information needed to run this site. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or needed to investigate abuse, enforce the community rules, or address safety concerns. Members who receive your content may save or share it outside the service, so avoid sending sensitive information you do not want them to retain.
Cookies and security
Cookies support sign-in and session security. Hosting and platform services may also process technical records. We use HTTPS, password hashing, account permissions, and moderation controls. No online service can guarantee complete security. Do not share account credentials or financial information in messages.
Your choices and retention
Settings include profile visibility, contact preferences, email notification choices, blocking, reporting, and an account export. Exports may not include every category of stored data; contact support for additional access requests. Account closure is a staff-processed request. We retain account information while providing the service and may retain limited records needed for security, moderation, legal obligations, or backups. Contact support to request deletion or learn what records remain and why.
Children and changes
This service is for adults aged 18 and older. Report suspected underage accounts to support. Updates to this policy will be published here with their effective date.
